The Locust is a guitar I originally made for myself in order to experience a scalloped fretboard for myself and also to better learn the musical style of Karl Sanders of the band Nile.
Spec’s are as follows :
Redwood burl top/back of body/peghead with fully scalloped ebony fretboard and single piece Honduras mahogany body core
Dyed red birch inlays
27"-26.5" scale lengths with 4th fret perpendicular to centerline.
1.25" thick body.
Tapered D shaped 7 piece laminate walnut/maple neck
Jumbo Evo Gold frets
Seymour Duncan Blackout's wired directly to 2 way on/on switch.
Hip shot open gear locking tuners and fixed 11 degree multi scale bridge
